“The starting point of my career”
I can definitely say that my ISD internship was the starting point of my career. I mostly liked working in a team, having a mentor which could provide you best practices for implementing something and give feedback on your progress. I liked the Agile style of the process and the fact that I didn't feel any communication discomfort. After the internship, I could finally think about what technology stack is pleasant to work with. Moreover, in the end, I was sure that the first company I would try to work at after graduating the university would be ISD.

The Java Internship Program at ISD was a great opportunity to make a career shift in IT. It was a practical work experience in software development, where I was guided by excellent mentors. I believe that internships are the fastest way to start a career in IT, that’s how it was for me. The most interesting and challenging during the internship was to work in a team with new people, where everyone's way of thinking and working is different. Finding a common language and collaborating with them efficiently was difficult and captivating, at the same time. The help of mentors enhances this experience by multiple times, because they give you feedback on how to improve your efficiency and tips on how to move on with the blockers.
