We’re seeking for a talented Robotics Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our partners are leading logistics automation provider based in the Netherlands, specializing in cutting-edge warehouse solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement the software stack for AGV/AMR solutions using ROS2.
• Work on motion planning, path-following, localization using external guidance (e.g., LiDAR, optical sensors), and control algorithms.
• Integrate with a Fleet Management System that would control the AGVs/AMRs and IoT infrastructure.
• Develop real-time, Linux-based robotic applications using C++ and Python.
• Collaborate closely with a distributed team (software developers, mechanical engineers, and business/product stakeholders) across Moldova and the Netherlands.
• Participate in architectural decisions, advocate for best practices, and propose technical solutions.
• Ensure high-quality software through code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
• Communicate directly with the client, gathering requirements and aligning development efforts with business needs.
• Conduct onsite testing and debugging in the Netherlands as needed.
Who we’re looking for:
• Experience in robotics software development or embedded systems with strong desire to learn.
• Understanding of ROS2, including navigation, sensor integration, and communication protocols.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with Linux-based development and real-time computing.
• Understanding of robot kinematics, control systems, and localization techniques using external guidance (e.g., LiDAR/optical sensors).
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, or low-level hardware integration is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of the development process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact directly with stakeholders and clients.
