ISD in collaboration with our partners from Inther Group in the Netherlands, is looking to extend our development team for one of our projects. The client software solution is meant to control and manage Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) systems in warehouses, enabling automatic storage and retrieval of totes with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). It processes commands from a Warehouse Control system, ensuring their accurate and efficient execution, while also overseeing the state of the AMRs and the ASRS system.
What are you going to do?
- Design, develop, and implement software features based on detailed business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create accurate estimations for project delivery timelines.
- Work proactively and independently to solve problems and deliver results.
- Write efficient, reusable, and test-adherent code.
- Provide regular status updates to management, review progress and evaluate results.
- Anticipate potential risks in the design and plan for mitigation.
- Identify and recommend changes in process/procedures and scope of delivery.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Java (17+) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
- Practical experience with designing and building RESTful APIs, working with WebSockets, ActiveMQ, dependency management using Maven, database management with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Camunda, Docker, Jenkins and SonarQube is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Vue.js. Strong interest in learning and deepening the knowledge and leveraging it in real-world projects.
- Knowledge of software architecture styles.
- Strong technology understanding, advanced customer interaction skills. Able to quickly understand a client’s business needs and translate them into a working technology solution.
- Ability to translate functional specifications into technical requirements. Proficiency in identifying ambiguities, inconsistencies, or gaps in specifications.
- Ability to identify potential challenges in implementation and propose viable solutions.
- Keen attention to details – you excel at identifying inconsistencies and maintaining accuracy, ensuring that each line of code and every feature upholds our high-quality standards.
- Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English.
