Data Engineer

ISD, a team of 50+ dedicated professionals, delivers sophisticated solutions to global market leaders, covering inventory management, warehouse automation, invoicing, farm automation, engineering cost estimation, and real estate consulting. Our projects leverage top programming languages– Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript – as well as specialized hardware, embedded systems, PLC, and IoT technologies. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our clients – a renowned global airline leader.

What are you going to do?

• Design, develop, and test cutting-edge systems.
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development of the application.
• Propose and implement ongoing enhancements to the product and team workflows.
• Play a key role in defining and executing the product roadmap.

What do we expect from you?

• 3 years of experience with Data Processing on Azure: Azure Data Factory, Streaming Analytics, Event Hubs, Azure Databricks, Data Migration Service, Data Pipeline.
• Azure skills are highly preferred, including provisioning, configuring and developing solutions in ADL, ADF, ADW etc. 
• Commercial experience with Python, PySpark and SQL. 
• In-depth understanding of database structure principals. 
• Experience in DevOps, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Airflow, Azure Monitor good to have. 
• Hands-on experience using MS SQL Server, Oracle or similar RDBMS platform. 
• Distributed Data Processing of big data batch or streaming pipelines (Kafka or similar).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau etc.) 
• Strong analytics skills.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to details.
